After arrival at Tirana Airport, the group will meet with our representative at Tirana International Airport. We will accommodate in one of The Hotels in the city's center, located in the central Boulevard,800 m from the city center. After relaxing for a while, we will get directed to meet our host at a local market to gather ingredients and then enjoy a private cooking lesson where you'll prepare two traditional Albanian dishes. Taste several appetizers and beverages and learn about Albanian cuisine and culinary traditions. This tour is suitable for foodies and travelers who enjoy meeting local people. After lunch, we come back to the city and spend the afternoon visiting the Mosque of Ethem Bey, the Clock Tower, the National Museum, the National Art Gallery, the Skanderbeg Square, Grand Park, and various governmental buildings. Dinner will be at Brau Haus restaurant. Inside the restaurant, there is a brewery, and you can choose between different kinds of beers produced locally—overnight in Tirana.
After breakfast, we departure to Kruja, the center of the Albanian resistance against the Ottomans under the Albanian hero Gjergj Kastrioti, Skanderbeg. We will visit the Citadel, the Ethnographic and Skanderbeg Museum, and the Old Bazaar with local handicrafts and authentic antiques. The old bazaar is an ideal place to shop for Albanian souvenirs. The next stop will be Art Zadrime to make your pottery souvenir. Transfer to Shkodra and visit the legendary Shkodra's Castel, Marubi Museum of Photography, Franciscan Church, and have a walk-in Pedonale street. Dinner in the restaurant with Folk show songs and music. Overnight in Shkoder.
After breakfast, we departure to Durres for a guided city tour. Durres is one of the oldest cities in Albania (founded in 627 B.C.). Durres is as much a cultural hub as it is a tourist destination. The city nowadays is located precisely on the ancient ruins. To not miss are The Roman Amphitheater, The Roman Baths, The Archaeological Museum, The Mosaic of Orpheus, The Venetian Tower, Fatih Mosque, King Zog I Residence.
After the visits, we plan to have lunch at an agrotourism restaurant located on top of the hill where you can enjoy the sea view. Inside the structure, a horse stable with horses from different races. The visitors and clients can enjoy riding horses and get riding classes if they wish.
After lunch, we suggest visiting one of the famous wineries At Duka Winery; you will have the opportunity to enjoy and taste different types of wine and Raki Albanian National Drink. The vineyard is a work of art, established by the great love and vision. Dinner in Durres. Overnight in Durres
After breakfast, departure to Apollonia. During the Apollonia and Berat Tour, you will visit the most impressive historical sites in Albania in one day!
in Apollonia, we will visit the Apollonia Archeological Park and explore the massive ruins of Apollonia's ancient city.
After Apollonia's departure to Berat, the white city of the 1000 window (UNESCO World Heritage Site), the city is also known for the harmonious coexistence of religions, which testify to the upper town, the colorful frescoes in the churches, mosques, and many valuable icons in Onofre Museum. Here we will visit the famous Kala of Berat on the top of the hill, Onufre Museum. Lunch in a traditional restaurant. Departure to Tirana. Dinner and overnight in Tirana.
After breakfast, we will enjoy the last hours in the city before departure.
